The left is afraid of people who believe in angels?
The Radical Christian Right (RCR) is the bogeyman of the US media. The RCR alternates between "losing members and dying a slow death" and "influencing elections." These two, opposite, reports are breathlessly given depending on the mood of the media. During periods of time when no elections are imminent, the RCR's death is predicted ad nauseum. During elections, this suddenly dead political movement wrecks everything.
Funny how something so weak and dead can defeat the likes of the mighty intellectual elite... Do the "elite" even know how ridiculous they sound? Nope, and it wouldn't matter to them anyway.
Well, who are these dastardly RCR people? Who are the members of this vast conspiracy? And why are they here?
WHO: Me, and anyone else who believes in God, personal responsibility, truth and freedom. Pretty bad, huh?
CONSPIRACY: We have no secret building we meet in, no membership rolls, no cards to carry, and no national leader. We're just trying to get the people we like elected. Sort of like the liberals are trying to get their people elected. Pretty scary, huh?
WHY: Because we have a right to vote.
Funny how the liberals complain about getting every vote counted, including felons who are not supposed to vote, but want to politically deny the RCR the right to vote based on the separation clause (yes, that very tidbit comes from US News and World Report from the last election). Not all liberals believe that, but the number is growing.
Why is the RCR so energized? Because we continue to see assault after assault on American values. We also see hypocritical applications of the separation clause being used as a bully club to remove religion from public life, entirely. The separation clause only states that the state shall not establish a religion. There IS NO state religion. We get upset when the NEA will not support religious art, but gladly pays for exhibits of the crucifix in a jar of urine (piss-Christ).
The message from the liberal side is clear: destroy religion. It does not matter that this country was founded by and for those fleeing from state interference in religion. Religion and socialism don't mix, so the truth of the founding of this country means nothing to liberals.
I pray every day, I own guns, and I vote. Nothing is more horrifying to a liberal than me and those like me. I AM THE RCR.
